I have 19 years operating experience as Managing Director within the outdoor industry (SALEWA, Dynafit, Silvretta) with responsibility for the HR and personnel recruitment.
In this role I was always clear on these key points: only with the right-fit employees can a company e brought to and kept on a long-term path to success. Since 2009 I have worked as an independent recruitment consultant for the outdoor and sport sector.
As co-founder of the German Fachgruppe Outdoor (FGO) within the Federation of the German Sporting Goods Industry (BSI) and board member for twelve years, co-initiator of the European OutDoor-Fair in Friedrichshafen in 1993 and advisory board member until 2014 as well as co-founder of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) I have been strongly engaged in the advancement of Outdoor as a business sector.
I know the industry very well, know how it thinks and works and have built up a wide network of candidates which enables me to find the right-fit persons (sometimes also from outside the sector) and to integrate them successfully.
It is important for me to establish a strong relationship with both my candidates and my clients. Establishing the understanding that I have in mind the best outcome for all parties is central to my business success. I have a long term commitment to the sector and a responsible work ethic which has maintained my profile within the industry and a reputation for integrity and measurable results.
